Regional Long Haul Truck Driver - Delta, BC

As a Regional Long-haul Company Driver, you are responsible for the safe and efficient movement of our Customers freight from Pick Up to Delivery. As our representative at the back door, you are expected to demonstrate a professional and courteous attitude in all interactions.

Runs are afternoon or evening scheduled departures from our Major Hubs in Metro Vancouver, Prince George or Calgary and typically do not exceed 600 miles. We have contracted runs both ways, we don’t send you out without a plan to get you back. With the ability to be home as frequent as every day or as little as once per week, we have the flexibility to provide a balanced lifestyle.

Accounts Payable/Data Entry Clerk - Delta, BC

Job Description

The BST Transportation Group in Delta is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join the team. The successful candidate will be required to handle very high volume of paperwork and data entries with accuracy and efficiency. The candidate is also required to maintain positive relationships with vendors by providing timely and professional responses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, code and record invoices
  • Match invoices with purchase orders
  • Perform vendor accounts reconciliations
  • Process semi-monthly payroll and payment to drivers
  • Assist in resolving payment / payroll related enquiries
  • Assist in month end closing
  • Perform general clerical duties, such as filing and mail as and when required.

Qualifications and key attributes:

  • Diploma in Accounting / Business
  • At least 2 years of working experience related to administration / accounting
  • Good computer knowledge, proficiency in MS office with intermediate Excel
  • Working knowledge with QuickBooks
  • A team player with excellent communication skills
  • Detail oriented, well-organized and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency

Quick As A Wink Courier Services/Quick Transload is seeking a talented and motivated individuals to join their growing team. This is a full time (Monday to Friday) position for the warehouse. This position will report directly to the Warehouse/Transload Supervisor. This position is on a rotating shift of days and afternoons OR a strictly graveyard shift.

EXPECTATIONS

  • Verifying accuracy and completeness of data
  • Creating, organizing and maintaining backups for incoming invoices and bill of lading
  • Entering data into Excel
  • Dealing with high volumes of paperwork
  • Answering phone calls and inquiries from customers (internal & external)

The ideal candidate must be extremely organized, detail oriented, personable, a problem solver, flexible, work well under deadlines, and proficient with Microsoft Office.

There is an AM, PM, and Graveyard shift available for this particular position.

  • Phone in trailer moves
  • Ensure inbound and outbound paperwork is completed
  • Manually track completed containers
  • Advise warehouse employees with proper loading techniques
  • Assist supervisor in monitoring freight movement

The ideal candidate must be extremely organized, detail oriented, personable, a proactive problem solver, flexible, work well under pressure, not afraid to get hands dirty.
